On behalf of Ashtead WI we would like to welcome you to our website and hope you enjoy browsing through the pages. We are a friendly group who are always pleased to welcome new members to our meetings. Our next meeting is on the 4th February at 7.30pm in the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall. Our speaker is Dr Helen Naylor who specialises in guided tours of Westminster. Her topic "I Spy London"
A well attended Christmas Lunch was held on the 15th December 2025 and enjoyed by all.

A number of members attended a Crazy Golf followed by a cream tea at the beginning of October. A successful afternoon. The winners of a "hole in one" and there were several and the winner who completed the course with the lowest score holding their prizes.

One of our members hosted a Mad Hatters Tea Party on a lovely sunny afternoon in early July. A good time was had by all. The proceeds will be going to our chosen local charity for this year.

Our May meeting commemorated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. A couple of our members were dressed for the part.

A few members of the walking group made the most of a glorious September day to walk along the River Thames at Walton before stopping for a light lunch. .
In August a number of our members enjoyed a visit to Parham House and Gardens

Members of our Gardening Group enjoyed an afternoon at The Grange with a delicious cream tea.

A few of our members braved the elements for a winter walk. Apparently there is a river lurking somewhere behind them and lost in the mist.

A number of our members enjoyed a back stage tour behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing, looking at the costumes worn by the dancers. One of our number bravely modelled one of the dresses.

A select group of members just past the village in Windsor Great Park, mid way through our circular walk. Our first return there since the outbreak of covid.


Our August outing on a very hot day to Saville Gardens followed in the afternoon by a Riverboat trip up through Old Windsor and a lock or two during which a cream tea was served.

Some members of the Gardening Group visited Lady Peteranne Hunt's Garden, Esher and rounded it off with afternoon tea and cake.
